About the game
"Attack of the bugs: forward to the past" is a colorful cartoon-style casual arcade game where you take on the role of a world defender against an insect invasion. The game combines elements of a top-down shooter and arcade, offering players unique mechanics with ghosts of past endeavors. Located in the middle of the map, players will have to maneuver and shoot back against waves of oncoming insect-like creatures that attack from all sides. Every enemy touch means defeat, but that's not the end of it. After each failure, the ghost of your previous self appears on the screen, repeating all the actions up to the moment of defeat, helping you in the next round and making the gameplay fun and dynamic. The goal of the game is to complete as many levels as possible by repelling waves of insects, becoming more and more skillful at dodging and shooting. With each level, the challenges get harder and the number and variety of enemies get bigger.
How to play
Movement: Use the WASD keys to move your character around the map. W moves your character forward, A moves left, S moves backward, D moves right. Turning and aiming: Mouse movement allows you to control the direction of your character's gaze and aiming. Your character automatically rotates to the side where the mouse cursor is pointing. Shooting: To shoot insects, use the right mouse button. Make sure the cursor is over the target for an accurate shot. Beware of enemies: If an enemy touches your character, you will lose one life and start the level over, but the ghost of the previous attempt will appear at your side, repeating all actions until you are killed. This will help you in further progression. Limited number of revives: In each level you have a limited number of revives. Use them wisely and try to avoid unnecessary collisions.
